Galicia Calidade, an organisation dependent on the Regional Ministry of Economy, Industry and Innovation, today presented the certificate accrediting the right to use the Galicia Calidade seal of guarantee to the Hotel temático Do Banco Azul, located in Fisterra (A Coruña). This certificate will allow the establishment to include the new signage on its façade, as well as to add the distinctive in the different actions for its commercial promotion.
At the award ceremony, the manager of Galicia Calidade, Ana Méndez, highlighted the privileged "location" of this hotel, situated in the heart of the Costa da Morte, next to the sea, between the fishing port and the beach of Ribeira and in front of the Castillo de San Carlos.
The House of the Blue Bench was always a reference for the population of Fisterra, and the bench that surrounds it was a place of meeting, debate and waiting for the boats. Its name comes from the blue colour of the benches of the Congress. Nowadays, the hotel has a total of seven rooms, some of them being duplexes with capacity for four people, something that makes it unique in the hotel offer of the area, which it shares, among others, with the Hotel Faro Lariño and with the Semáforo de Fisterra, both establishments also certified with the guarantee seal.
