The Yayo Daporta restaurant
opened in 2005 in a historic building in “Rua Hospital” in Cambados and, since then, it maintains its commitment to the updated Galician cuisine
. The chef, Yayo Daporta, develops the knowledge and experienced acquired at the Hotel Management School of Galicia and in restaurants such as Casa Solla (Pontevedra), Alejandro (Almería) or Amparo (Madrid).
The menu always starts with the best products in the market, paying special attention to seafood and seasonal fish, to which they apply the most appropriate cooking techniques.
It has a wide and careful selection of Galician vines from Galician wine denominations of origin as well as other Spanish and international wines, selected by the sommelier Esther Daporta.
The restaurant has been awarded with a Michelin star
since 2008 and with two ‘Soles’ Repsol
since 2015, as well as the Q Mark for Tourist Quality
. The chef Yayo Daporta is part of the ‘Nove
’ Group, which brings together chefs who promote the modernization and renovation of Galician cuisine.
