The managing director of Galicia Calidade took part in the launch of this championship, which will tour the north-west of the Iberian Peninsula until 26 September
The managing director of Galicia Calidade, Ana Méndez, took part of a new edition of the Tur43 Golf and Croquet Circuit, which, from this edition onwards, will also incorporate the name of the quality assurance brand, becoming the Tur43 Galicia Calidade Circuit. Over the next four months, the championship will tour the north-west of the Iberian Peninsula, with events in Galicia, Portugal and Asturias.
The event is now in its sixth year for golf and its third for croquet, maintaining a format that combines competition, gastronomy and regional promotion, whilst incorporating new features that enrich the experience. In addition to institutional support from Turismo de Galicia, through Galicia Calidade, the tournament is introducing new venues such as the Iberik Augas Santas in Pantón.
The season therefore kicked off at the Real Aeroclub de Santiago, which will also host the grand final on 26 September. Between these dates, the circuit will visit some of the most iconic courses in northern Spain and Portugal.
The inclusion in this year’s event of sponsorship from Turismo de Galicia, through Galicia Calidade, reinforces the shared aim of strengthening the connection with the region and with the excellence of the products that form part of the experience. At this first event, attendees will be able to enjoy products from Estrella Galicia, Cabreiroá, Queixería Barral, Pazo do Queixo, Santo André, Torre de Núñez, Sacrapastas, Tartas la Abuela and Cabo de Peñas.
