The manager of Galicia Calidade, Ana Méndez, today handed over the certificate of use of the Galicia Calidade guarantee mark to the managers of Queixería Barral, in a ceremony that took place at the company's facilities, located in Arzúa (A Coruña).
The manager of the organism dependent on the Regional Ministry of Economy, Industry and Innovation emphasised that the new products certified with the Xunta de Galicia's guarantee seal are characterised by their ability to integrate "origin, tradition, quality, flavour and sustainability".
Queixería Barral began as an artisan mini-cheese shop founded in 1989, which gradually became a company committed to the tradition of its origins, as they have been master cheesemakers for more than 30 years without losing sight of innovation and modernity characteristic of a new generation.
